Better known as Maya sarabhai from Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai (best actress in comic), Ratna Pathak Shah was born on 18 th march, 1957 in Mumbai to Baldev and Ratna Pathak. She studied from J.B.Vachha High School and is the alumnus of NSD. She married Nasiruddin Shah abd has two children. Shah debuted from Mandi in 1983. She also won London Asian Film Festival award for standout performance for her latest film Lipstick Under My Burkha in 2018 and khoobsoorat in 2014. She has been the selecting member of the Padma Shri and Padma Bhusan awards.
